Nadia is Joy’s favorite pianist in Chicago with whom she danced in class from 1999 to 2005. Nadia’s impeccable resume cannot convey the lovely atmosphere and motivation her impassioned playing invokes in ballet class. Bringing the best in live musical excellence teaches dancers about expressive musicality, the art of listening to phrasing and sensitivity to timing. Respect for the talent and contribution of skilled musicians in the dance scene is an important goal of our school.
Nadia is currently the pianist at Ruth Page Foundation School of Dance, River North dance company, Lou Conte Dance Company and guest pianist at many other schools in the Chicago area. For 10 years she played at the State Academic Ballet School which belongs to the Bolshoi Theater Opera and Ballet in Minsk, Belarus.
